Accord to Host Greatest Lives Virtual Event June 24
This summer Accord’s admin operations and day service programs will be moving into two new facilities! With this move we’ll be able to support over 300 individuals and their families within our day service programs. The new sites will feature new and updated program areas designed to help the people we support learn important life skills in volunteering, recreation, health and wellness, personal empowerment, art, hobbies, and more.
We are asking for the community’s support as we go through the moving process during this difficult time. We are looking for donations to help fill these new locations with the PPE supplies we need to protect our staff and the people we support to continue helping people live their greatest lives.
This virtual event will take the place of Accord’s canceled Greatest Lives Gala that was set to happen in March. Due to concerns over COVID-19, we decided an online event was the perfect way to still connect to our supporters and the community. On June 24 at 7 p.m. you will be able to view a short, 30 minute program on our website and Facebook page, followed by instructions on how to make a donation to Accord.
We will also have an online auction available. You must pre-register before the event to bid on auction items. The online auction will begin on Wednesday, June 17 and will close at 9 p.m. the night of the 24th. We will send you more information on how to bid on items once you register.
