Accord Receives Grants from F.R. Bigelow, Archie D. and Bertha H. Walker Foundation, and Anna M. Heilmaier Charitable Foundation

Accord has recently received three grants from Twin Cities organizations; F. R. Bigelow Foundation, Walker Family Foundation, and the Anna M. Heilmaier Charitable Foundation. We would like to give a warm thank you to these foundations for their support of our organization. With their help, Accord will be able to continue to serve people with disabilities in a safe and compassionate way.

F. R. Bigelow Foundation

The F. R. Bigelow Foundation seeks to enhance the quality of life for all in the greater Saint Paul area, fostering a vibrant East Metro region.

The Foundation will partner, collaborate and invest in opportunities that seek to achieve racially and economically equitable outcomes in the areas of arts & culture, community & economic development, education & youth development, health, housing, and human services.

F.R. Bigelow has donated a grant of $30,000 to Accord for general operating costs.

Archie D. and Bertha H. Walker Foundation

The Archie D. and Bertha H. Walker Foundation supports: 1) programs dealing with chemical dependency, chiefly alcoholism, and its effects on children and their development; 2) programs in the arts; and 3) programs addressing the treatment of racism, prejudice, and exclusivity. Within their areas of primary interest, the Archie D. and Bertha H. Walker Foundation provides seed grants to pioneering programs. They also provide continued support of traditionally funded programs in conservation, education, and health. The foundation grants funds only to organizations that operate without prejudice.

The Foundation has given Accord a grant of $2,000 for general operating costs.

Anna M. Heilmaier Charitable Foundation

The Anna M. Heilmaier Foundation was created in 1993 upon Anna’s death to memorialize her love of music and the arts as well as her commitment to the healthcare of the residents in the Saint Paul and East Twin Cities metropolitan region.

The organization has given a grant for $15,000 to be used for general operating costs at Accord.

Thank you again to these foundations for their support of Accord and helping the people we support live their greatest lives!
