Tattersall Distilling Donates 30 Gallons
of Sanitizer to Accord
We want to give a shoutout to our friends at Tattersall Distilling for their donation of 30 gallons of hand sanitizer to Accord! This much needed supply is going to our programs to continue to ensure the safety of individuals we support.
The rye whiskey distiller has teamed up with two other distilleries — Du Nord Craft Spirits and Brother Justus Whiskey Company — to form All Hands MN, a collaborative effort to provide hand sanitizer to those who need it. They’ve even partnered with Minnesota grocer Lunds and Byerlys to sell the sanitizer in its stores.
The sanitizer is made from ethanol or isopropanol, glycerol and hydrogen peroxide. Tattersall began making small batches of sanitizer by following the World Health Organization and U.S. Food and Drug Administration guidelines. They have since donated gallons to shelters, clinics, and nursing and working homes.
The distillery in northeast Minneapolis has now completely turned operations over to making hand sanitizer and has already made thousands of gallons for local organizations like Accord.
Thank you, Tattersall Distilling!
