This strategic acquisition aims to expand service capacity and enhance the quality of support provided to communities in our region, particularly the LGBTQIA2S+ community.

Edges Wellness Center will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Accord, retaining its brand identity while benefiting from Accord’s leadership and administrative expertise. Together, we will increase capacity for these much needed services and reach a wider audience, ensuring that more individuals and families receive the culturally attuned and affirming support they need.

Seamless Transition for Providers and Clients

Our top priority is to ensure a smooth transition for both clients and providers. There will be minimal disruptions to the services provided by Edges Wellness Center, and current commission for providers will remain unchanged. Edges will also keep accepting insurance, including Medical Assistance and now also Medicare. Mark Reese will continue to serve as Clinical Director, ensuring continuity of care, while Alex Iantaffi has chosen to pursue new professional directions. An Executive Director will be appointed to further strengthen the leadership team and increase the organization’s capacity.
