Accord’s Employment Support Services help individuals with disabilities find meaningful, competitive employment within their communities. Our team is here to support you in exploring your interests, discovering your strengths, and pursuing fulfilling career opportunities.
Accord offers employment services in four different areas: Engagement, Planning, Development and Support. Our goal is to develop customized jobs in the community that capitalize on each individual’s interests, abilities, and personal goals.
What We Offer
Our team of experienced professionals is dedicated to providing personalized support to each individual, including job coaching, skills training, and job search assistance. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to contribute to their community and achieve their full potential.
Employment Support may be an option for someone who:
Wants Exploration, Development, or Supports through a waiver.
Is looking for employment opportunities.
Has learned a new skill or is working on developing new ones.
Is looking to get involved in their community.
Core Employment Process
Our Core Employment Process is built around each person’s unique strengths, goals, and aspirations. We start by engaging individuals to learn about their interests and career dreams. Together, we plan a path to employment that includes skill-building, training, and support. Next, we find opportunities that align with their abilities and goals. Once employed, we continue providing support to help individuals keep their jobs, grow in their roles, and achieve long-term success.
