Metro Mobility Offers to Pick Up Grocery Orders

Individuals who use Metro Mobility’s services throughout the Twin Cities are now eligible for grocery delivery. The company announced over the weekend that certified Metro Mobility customers can now order groceries and household essentials online from a store that has online shopping and local pick up, and Metro Mobility will pick your order up and deliver it to your home.

There is no fee for this service – it is completely free! The delivery service began on Sunday, March 22.

Customers can book same day delivery or schedule it in advance. The service will work the same as if you were booking a ride. You will receive your delivery within 60 minutes.

When you order from your chosen grocery store, just let them know that Metro Mobility will be picking up your order. When you communicate with Metro Mobility to pick up your items just make sure to let them know your order number as proof of purchase for pick up. The company asks that you keep a four-bag limit per order.

Pickups must be scheduled at a commercial store location. Drivers will verify your photo ID at drop-off.
