We Will Be Re-Branding in 2020
We have some exciting changes happening! Over our nearly 50 years of supporting the Twin Cities and Greater Minnesota area, we’ve gone by Community Involvement Programs. As we’ve grown and the community’s needs have changed and evolved, we’ve found that our name is no longer representative of who we are as an organization. For one thing, we are people first, not program first, and that should be indicated by our name. With that in mind, we knew it was time to take a step back and make sure we were aligning how we present ourselves to the community in a way that communicates our passion for helping people live their greatest lives! To do this, we decided it was time to re-brand our organization. What does this mean?
It means that in January 2020 we will be revealing a new name, logo, and branding. Yes, we will have a new name and you’ll start to see new colors and a new logo on things like our website, posters and brochures, and at our different locations. We’ll still offer the same amazing person-centered programs and services, but we’ll be doing it with a new brand that encompasses all of the great things we do as an organization.
In the coming months we will be working with our friends at PLDG, a full-service design and branding agency in Minneapolis, to create our new brand. We will be meeting with organization stakeholders, community members, parents and guardians, and the people we support to brainstorm the ways in which this new brand should represent what we do in the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota area. In March of next year we will plan to launch this new name and brand.
We will continue to keep you updated on this exciting new journey and ask for your help in spreading the word about our new name once it is announced. In the meantime, if you have questions please do not hesitate to reach out. Thank you for your continued support!
